A Teach For America alumna, Vanessa taught English and Ethnic Studies in the vibrant but underserved Eastside of San Jose, CA, for over ten years. In 2018, Vanessa Kerr earned her Master's degree in Urban Education Policy and Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
